1. а) это не рассказ, б) указания на время, которое прошло, там нет, и в) того факта, что вы что-то сказали, никто пока не аннулировал.
2. Если очень напрячься, ее можно переформулировать так: "Я буду признателен, если вы повторите еще разок". Казалось бы, налицо все признаки перфекта. Тем не менее это не PrPf, a PastIndf. Почему? Нипочему. Так сложилось в языке. Запомните, пожалуйста, что следующие предложения всегда идут в PastIndf:
What did you say? Что вы сказали?
I didn't understand.I didn't get it. Я не понял.I didn't catch it.

Present Perfect и Post Indefinite. He лепите туда других времен, там их нет.
