Какой ужас, ведь по британским правилам нужно было спросить "Do we have"! И вот ваши будущие партнеры по бизнесу смотрят на вас с подозрением, начало контакта неудачно, деловое сотрудничество погублено в самом зародыше.

А теперь предположим, что вы сделали противоположную ошибку.

Do you have any further suggestions? -

спросили вы, когда по тем же самым таинственным правилам нужно было спросить Have you...? "Ладно, - думают англичане, - он говорит по-американски. Плохо, конечно, но ничего страшного".

Видите? Все одно к одному. Не нужно спрашивать "Have you...?" - можно совершить роковую ошибку. Спрашивайте "Do you have...?" - и не ошибетесь никогда.

Все ошибки с глаголом to be допускаются только по невниманию. Вот, например, что из нижеследующего, по-вашему, правильно:

1. Did you be to the sea-side last summer?2. Were you to the sea-side last summer?3. Did you were to the sea-side last summer?4. Do you are crazy? 5. Do you be crazy? 6. Are you crazy?

Варианты (З) и (4) должны отпасть сразу же: глагол после альфы идет в голом инфинитиве, а не в том, что написано в этих двух предложениях. Но вот (1) и (5) выглядят на первый взгляд вполне корректно: альфа, подлежащее, голый инфинитив. Но дело в том, что глагол
